Part of my thesis project has been the study of novices that have been introduced to del.icio.us and citeulike. I want to analyse their tagging logs to look for patterns and I am unsure what tools (stats, infoviz, database) are best to use for this to supplement the information I am gathering from my interviews.

Any suggestions?
